When my Uncle was working for Delta Airlines in the 80s he was sent to France along with a load of other Delta mechanics.  They were horrified when all the French mechanics had a bottle of wine each with their packed lunch, then went back out working on the planes in the afternoon!  :o

Sales of Airfix kits plummeted in the 1980s, and GCSEs had to be made easier as a result - James May

Yes, from our point of view now, it seems frightening, dangerous and almost criminal, but the old ones say that they were accustomed to alcool while we are weak and getting drunk with 10 times less than them. I just don't know, I just don't drink alcool.

The CD is made and sent :) , with the source pictures of "Forked Ghosts", "Supplement 1 to Forked Ghosts", "The end of Forked Ghosts" (about 4 times bigger than in the books, which means 16 times more area and file-size). I could send copies to other friends too, but I fear my publisher would strongly disagree, as he still tries in vain to sell the 2 initial books...
For the ones having the 3 books, ask me by mail and I will send the CD, as there is no concurrence to the books this way.
For the others, I propose this: if you want one picture full size, ask me by mail, and I will send it to you, explaining to my publisher that it is just a tiny part, as advertisement.
Well, as my 2 last books have not been published, I should feel free, but I feel guilty towards this retired engineer that believed in my books and lost money with them... Poor old man. :(

For the possible interest of this CD, take an example: Jeffry Fontaine has seen in my book a tiny picture of his DH.281, 1 inch wide. With the CD, he would be able to get a much better view of it. No? No one but Evan?

As I posted in another thread, the CD arrived the day before Christmas.  Thank you very much.  I haven't had a chance to look at it, though, as I've been trying to sort out some computer problems.  I "think" I've got them resolved now and will be taking a good look in the next day or two.
