Pre War style, Neutrality style or Free Netherlands style - post 1940 ?

Tom will know for sure but I think there are at least 3 styles of national markings used during the War years. Maybe 4 with the late war national flag style ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Like Chris said, lots of choices. Pre war were the roundels, with three parts red, white and blue, just before the war they switched to the orange neutrality triangles.
And during the war in the far east they also used a rectangular Dutch flag.

I've got a whole book on Dutch Air Force markings and colours. If you know the year and the area, I can give you some examples of schemes.
Decals are available from Dutch Decal and Flevo decals (both available via Hannants or the www.aviationmegastore.com)

interesting . I didn't realise there was so much variety .  I guess  Free Netherlands as the ship has been converted by Royal Navy .
