That's nice!

IIRC there were plans for a P-51 development with a tricycle landing rear arrangement, but it also has an auxillary jet engine in the tail and forward-swept wings:

Only little of the original Mustang left over, though.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

That's come out really well
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I love the way your sorted the main gear position, very lateral thinking. And the radiator position is also very logical too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks everyone , especially Weaver , I tried but couldn't get the pics to show , how did you do it?.
The Model is a "Bitsa" , build entirely from the spares box , a MkXVI fuselage , not sure  about the wings , various old bits of canopy and a spare prop from an Airfix MkI. The hardest part was the wheel wells , I cut a square out of the lower wing half and reversed it to give the wider track, the rest was Miliput and sandpaper.  Oh yes , it's in 1/48 scale, glad you enjoyed it.

It's a beaut...

I right-clicked on each pic on Imgur then chose 'Copy Image Location', which gave a slightly different code to the ones you quoted. Then I just put them in IMG tags and it worked. Here are the codes:

I think the problem may have been that the codes you posted were the links to the pages the images were on, not links to the actual images.

Wonderful model!
(May I photopaint a zwilling version(Twin-Cobrafire) from it?)
And thanks Weaver to have shown us the pictures.
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

SPINNERS

Really impressed - a great idea and very well executed.
