As mentioned in my long delayed thread on the Sabrecat (https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=37051.msg858066#msg858066) I was searching through my mega-cluttered model bench y'day and found all sorts of stuff.

Amongst these was a Mach2  :banghead: Coleoptre kit that I'd started ages ago, and I thought I'd mentioned it on this forum as well, but I can't find it. Anyway, the build has gone far enough that it may well be 'finishable' before Telford this year, so I'll start a new thread on it.

New build thread here https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=46969.new#new
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Rheged

In my case, I think the ultimate thing found when I wasn't looking for it was this website and I'm really pleased I did discover Whiffworld. I was looking for something else to do with Landrovers, which led me to the Trackrover  and you have had to put up with me ever since!

More recently, Madame R and I are still finding odds and ends that we thought were lost when we moved house over 5 years ago...........books, stash items, most of  Madame R's painting kit etc.  Cries of "So that's where it went" are regularly heard down the corridors of Chateau Rheged.
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."

I got fed up[with PSRing the Venom T5 and the Rotocrane so I fetched some the oddballs I found in the Lost Box down from The Loft for 'examination'.

5) A 16 Escadron (Who?) Percival Pembroke. A lovely looking low pressure injection moulded kit of a nice RAF aircraft. It also happens to be the largest aircraft I've ever flown, but in its FAA Sea Prince guise, so that's GOT to be built too.

Goodness knows what else is up there, I'm almost afraid to look deeper into that particular box.

The 16e Escadron WAS a Bruxelles shop and the Pembroke is the only kit they issued:

I've one in the stash and yes, a nice looking kit.  While I think I got mine from the late lamented ED Models, many years ago when living in Belgium I did once visit the 16e Escadron shop.

NARSES2

Yesterday an A5 sheet of Royal Bulgarian AF roundels pre 1941. Cost me all of £3-50 many years ago and completely unused, but that is about to change
