The October Airfix Model World carries a cancellation notice for the Cosford 2021 Show, which would have been on April 5th 2021. Main reasons are the ongoing uncertainties regarding the Covid 19 Pandemic and the possibilities of incurring financial penalties for any short term notice of cancellation given to the venue.

We're going to see a lot of this, if only because it's very difficult to see how you can reconcile mandated social distancing measures with normal show attendance and behaviour.

Quite likely. In all honesty it may well be the smaller "village hall" type shows that survive, under the radar so to speak.

I have to admit that having sat on many a committee (not modelling clubs) in my time I can thoroughly understand the decisions being taken.
