DECALS NEEDED! Tamiya 1/48 Fw190D-9 #61041

Hi all,
I bought this kit on a whim in around 2008 but my plans for it lost steam and it remained built but unpainted etc until this week.

The decals were compromised - cracks and dampness across decals both big and small - so I used some Testor's decal bonder spray. But it was for nought, not only did I use a bit much but it did nothing to stop fracturing of crosses and stencils.

So, needlessly long story short, I need all the bits from both decal sheets covering Lt. Teo Nibel's Black 12 WkNr.210079 (or just both sheets if practical) for this kit. Please let me know if you have this going spare! I am feeling incredibly discouraged with this setback after a wonderful period of excitement and enjoyment completing this long-dormant build.

Hi,

I don't have the Tmaiya kit but do have the Hobby Boss D-9 which appears to have the same scheme included.
I won't use the German decals so you're welcome to them if you want.
Drop me a PM with your address if you want me to send them.

If anyone can hell I need both #36 decals from this Tamiya kit, the serial number/WkNr 210079. Please let me know if you have this going spare!

Zac, i'm sorry to inform you that i don't know when or if i'll ever get that kit because, after waiting for over a month, the kit hasn't showed up yet. I spoke to Paul from ISM and it seems that the Royal Mail lost the kit... Paul said he'll order another one to send me but i have no clue as to when i'll be getting it so, you might want to try and find an alternative, unless you're willing to wait for who knows how long... $:-\$
Sorry about this, mate but i can't do anything about it.

Well, Paul's the one who lost money. The kit was donated for the draw but he spent money to ship it, and now he'll be spending money on a kit and more to ship it again. I feel bad for that cause i just typed a number and won the draw. I just hope that it doesn't happen again. There seems to have been quite a few situations like this happening during the xmas season with stuff being handled by the royal mail, i was thinking i'd lost the Revel Dauphin kit also coming from the UK to Portugal, it took over a month to be delivered and the seller told me she had more cases of missing items.
