I started this some time ago and have been coming back to it every now and then.

I started with 2 P-3 kits and some spare Attack Squadron AE2000 engines (from a C-130J), plastic card and C-130J prop blades

The fuselage and wing span was stretched with associated inboard wing chord increase

Not many in progress pictures after that. The seams were filled and resin engines attached and fared in with lots of superglue and putty after modifying them. The prop hubs are from the engines with prop blades from an Italeri C-130J. The tail was also modified ( squared off) and tail planes increased in span as per the prototype. Dimensions are approx as I had a few smal images to go from.

The rear of the engine nacelles were also modified as per Lockheed  P-7/P-3G concept images

Finally the wing root fairing was added for the sonobuoy launch tubes (which are yet to be drilled out), there are a lot of them, something like 80 I think compared to about 50 for the P-3C

Finally wingtips were replaced with those for a CP-140

I am calling it a P-7B as the original concept used a different engine/prop combo, I am making do with what I had at hand. The Attack Squadron prop hubs were re-drilled and filled to allow for only 5 blades as opposed to 6 on the C-130J and C-27J.

I will get back to this one shortly I hope

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
