Strikes me that grafting on an Aloha Jet nose would make one of these both more German and more confusing to certain people...

The authentic tones are RAL 6003 and 7021. You could use Humbrol 86 or 117 (FS 34102), both come close, and 67 (WWII Panzergrau, but it's actually the correct tone, a VERY dark grey) or 184, if you still have a tin of the latter.
