You may have seen the trouble that Chronic had with a Nazi sympathizer on his Star Trek modelling group. https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=42778.msg870752#msg870752

Having a Star Trek ship named for a prominent Nazi, with the Nazi symbol and a veiled white supremacy message is not cool. https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/1488

This website is a list of symbols and phrases that are used by racist and hate groups. You may find it useful for future reference.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

People are just ______. Imagine how lonely you are if you have to post crap on the internet to get a reaction.

The 727 videos are cool, thanks. Love that sound.

I was lucky enough to catch a RNXZF 727 in Newfoundland, doing her retirement world tour.

Be careful with the ADL database and similar resources.

Note, for example, the entry for the 'OK' hand sign. Their original entry stated categorically that it WAS a hate symbol, but is now much more nuanced. This is because they didn't realize that the entire idea of 'OK' being a 'hate' symbol was invented by 4chan trolls ENTIRELY for the purpose of inducing the ADL, similar organisations and left-wing journalists to make fools of themselves, and for a while it succeeded. NOBODY was using 'OK' as racist 'sign language' at the time of the 4chan campaign (a moment's thought will show you why using a universal innocent sign as a 'secret code' is completely dysfunctional). You still get cases of activists digging up old photos of people making the 'OK' sign from before the internet even existed and claiming it 'proves' they're white supremacists, when those people not only are NOT racists but are completely oblivious to the whole issue.

It's entirely possible that some of the other things on the ADL's database are equally false, but they haven't figured it out yet. Internet culture is also drenched in layers of irony and in-jokes, so if you encounter somebody apparently using this stuff, don't jump to conclusions, give them a chance to explain themselves, and look at the situation in context, not in isolation.

I'm a moderator on the facebook page 'The Greatest Planes That Never Were', and rarely deny someone applying for membership. But a few weeks ago there was one applicant I checked on, and not only denied, but blocked. His profile page showed support for a fascist group in The Philippines. Yeah, not great.
