Is there any 1/72 scale Griffin engines out there?

What I'm thinking about is spare noses/cowlings that portrary a Rolls Royce Griffin engine.  I'd assume in resin.  There are plenty of Merlins but it appears no Giffins.  Does anybody have a pointer to one?

Years ago DB did a five bladed prop with RR Griffin engine in resin.

You will only get these second hand now which is how I got mine.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Interesting but the wrong sort, old man.  I'm after the late model Spitfire sort.  The long nosed variants.

I thought you probably were.
When Lee gets here i'm sure he will be able to point you in a direction.

Chrisonord is selling a Frog Shackleton for a very reasonable price, the postage might be hefty but you'll get four in one.

Alternatively, if you asked nicely he might cut them off to save postage? IIRC
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

How about sawing off the nose of an Airfix PR XIX? A Fujimi XIV or XIX might do as well, and could be cheaper on eBay.

I could have suggested a much cheaper FROG one, but their idea of a Griffon doesn't bear much relationship to a real one.  :banghead:
