Hi all, a long shot.

I've got an old Matchbox Lightning T.55 that I picked up from show some years ago, unfortunately it has a very poor vac formed canopy.  Does anybody have one that's surplus to requirements?  Willing to swap or exchange beer vouchers.

Cheers,

Simon
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I may have one knocking about somewhere, emphasis on the 'SOME'.......

I'll see if I can find it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks Kit, that'd be great if you can find it.

I'm trying to remember if Aeroclub's T.4/5 conversion came with two canopies, does anyone know ?

I'll try to find the two conversions I have and see.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

I've also got two Tandair conversions, which had vacform canopies, but they only fit the Tandair fuselage so they'd not be much good.

The Wooksta!

The Aeroclub one didn't come with two canopies.  You could try Whirlybird, as they did a pair of resin two seaters and may have some canopies left in stock.  Alternatively, Rob Taurus *might* have done one for the Sword kit.

Thanks all. I've sent a message to Whirlybird, see if they have any spare.
