I don't normally post up resin detail sets, but somehow I think these will be of interest to whiffers, and they're reasonably priced too:

1/72nd Hind guns - a GSh-23-2 and a YakB 12.7mm Gatling

EDITED 'cos I misidentified the cannon.....

And another resin set that might prove to be hugely popular with whiffers:

1/72 spats!

4.50 EUR a pop. For Academy's Ju-87, but will look the part on other whiffs as well!

MMMMMMMMMM  Love those guns....

I wonder if you could fit that 12.7 gatling to a car???

Another nice gun for not much money: a 1/48th GSh-23 in it's belly fairing. All sorts of whiff potential:

I've just been on the Big H's site to replace the broken Quickboost Wyvern exhaust duct for my Double Pancake, and the site says that Quickboost are no longer making stuff. When the current lot's gone, it's gone.  :banghead:

I might add there are 23 pages of their stiff on the site, so there's a lot to plough through.  :o

But if you want Wyvern exhausts you've had it, I bought all of them

Is Quickboost part of the Eduard empire or is it part of the Special Hobby Empire ?

If part of the Special Hobby, then they appear to re-branding their product range.

If part of the Eduard ,then they appear to be bringing out new ranges which replace the older ones. Some using newer technologies.

It's all getting a tad complicated I know that much.

It says 'Made by Aires' on all the packaging, whoever they are.

Funny you should say that Lee.  ;D When I'd added two sets to my buy at the Big H I thought 'Perhaps a third one would be a good idea, just in case.....'  ;) ;)

A Czech manufacturer of rather good resin detail & upgrade sets: http://www.aires.cz/en/

Hmm, it looks like they're just bringing everything into the Aires fold as they list some Wyvern exhausts and they look identical to the Quickboost ones.

It used to be just Aires before, I've got a few of their sets in the stash. They then started a line called Quickboost, which I think were supposed to be very basic sets of their more extensive sets (ie, lots of tiny, tiny parts).  I think they have another line of products too, trying to remember the name ----

Absolutely mate, and I thought a lot of them were exceptional value.

Wondering if the injection moulding process has seen so many improvements recently, slide moulding etc, if the manufacturers are realising some of these basic sets are no longer needed ?
