Here's two I have just finished, both were an an interesting build  and both nearly got stowed in  hanger 101.
The Sea Devil  is a ship borne  point  defense  interceptor  based aboard HMS Ocean  circa 1953.
The aircraft is armed with  jettisonable  wingtip air to air rocket pods . I wanted to put a RATO pod underneath it, but there's not enough ground clearance. Also I wanted to use the kits other fuselage  as it had air brakes, but the cockpit  was 5 mm too wide for that fuselage  even after trimming the  cockpit down. The fuselage needed  the mating surfaces  tidying up considerably  and I think that  made the hole for cockpit  that bit  smaller too. The other fuselage will get a scratch build cockpit from the bits boxes  and be an RAF  in service  version.  The kit is the CMR Boulton Paul P111  in 1/72nd scale with plastic tube  rocket pods.
The Delta II is the Novo kit a copy/rebox of the  Frog kit
Not too bad to build  as it is by today's standards quite a  basic  kit. 3 wasn't sure whether I  liked the  colour scheme I painted it in  so it has sat for a long time  unfinished.  The aircraft is an  operational  weapons testing  platform  and is fitted with a pair of  early  firestreak missiles.

Very good Chris.

The FD2 with Firestreaks looks particularly likely.

I saw both of them fly at Farnborough, but never realised quite how TINY the P111 was!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I quite  enjoyed building  the P111  even though it was a bit  awkward  and I  managed to  break off the tail just  before I  photographed it.  I have the Olimp  P120 too which  could also get drafted into the navy.  I  want to do  another  FD2 as an in service interceptor, possibly in either all over  royal blue  or green / grey camouflage  over  bare metal or pru blu.

Very good builds, Chris.
I didn't even know of CMR. I suppose it's a resin kit.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Yes its a resin  kit, I  got it cheap  along with the  olimp  P120.  There's nearly enough parts in the CMR kit build 2 different  versions.  If you can  source some  landing gear and  scratch build  an air splitter  for the  intake  you will be able to build another.  There is a  spare  ejection seat  too. I wouldn't bother too much about the rest of the cockpit as you  can't see inside.

The latter ones are absolutely top quality kits as well
