Miles Master

Does anyone have any clear pictures of the underside of a Miles Master?  I'm trying to build an Air Lines Master, and the directions are astoundingly vague about the locations of all the intakes/exhaust stubs under the cowling forward of the wing roots.  :/

I've exhausted my Google-fu - they all swerve into the Miles Magister, I guess because my typing "Miles Master" is too vague for the Slurvian mental midgets who wrote the search engine.

Even a clear photo of that area of a completed model would be great.

Anyone?

That's the ex-FROG radial engine Master III isn't it?

If so these might help. The B&W pics are real ones and the colour pic is a 1/48 Manga kit built up.

Thanks, Kit - the second picture is the most helpful.

I bought the kit, and its twin brother, on Etsy a while ago - decided to build on whilst I'm waiting for the 'Off' on the Prototype GB.  First box - two port-side fuselage halves, no stbd one.  Only one seat and one figure.  I opened the second box - thankfully it was the full kit, with all parts.

So I'm whiffing it - added a third row to the radial engine and elongated the cowling.  The putty is drying now. :)  I know I should lengthen the empennage, but I don't have time for that, so I'll just ignore the change to the CG.  :)

Kit's 2nd Law of Whiffing applies of course.

Nah, lead left over from drains work during the expansion of the Phillips & Powis factory in Woodley.  ;D

Great photographs

The second picture.  Nice hat, but what are the biplanes in the background?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Assuming it's taken in S Africa then yes they would be Harts
