bigger size/different scale
I remember the very first twin-fuselage I saw. It was in 1977-78 (I was 13-14 years old): a very big Heinkel 111Z Italeri 1/72, made by a friend (colleague student) for the local model shop display, this was huge... And I did not imagined at all that many decades later I would become the World amateur expert about such twin-fuselage planes... My F-204Z today is not big: <_<

Cheers Tophe
The nice thing about your scale is it doesn't need quite so much space as a He 111Z.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Yes, there are two phenomenons at the same time : span of He 111 is much more than F-204, scale 1/72 is twice bigger than my 1/144. ;)
Paint will be much later, probably.

Nice one Tophe - it's a shame that the tailplanes don't quite touch really isn't it?

Glad to hear you're okay re cancer.

Thanks! (I was in holidays unable to answer).
The separate tails are not a problem I think, they simply look like He-111Z and PL-12 Airtruk. This is less solid than a common tailplane but that gives more elasticity margin maybe (if this F-204Z were a dogfighter)... ;D
I plan to start painting today or tomorrow.

Hope you had a good holiday Tophe
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

Thanks!
And I have started painting the side above, making the putty different colour disappear: <_<

I like this, I  can just see some of those  causing  havoc  and being  intercepted by Buck Rodgers

Thanks! (feel free to imagine military version while mine is civilian or is a bird...) ;)

Now I have coloured canopies, but the last drops of paint are drying, before the final pictures. :-\

Tophe

Thanks!

Of course "mirror copy" and "bitmap editing" made triplex fuselage derivatives, three of them: <_<
