Jaguar Atlantic two door coupe

Based on the 1995 Chrysler Atlantic concept vehicle.
The donor kit is the Lindberg 1/25 super-snap ultra Chrysler Atlantic,  the grill from the Tamiya 1/24 Jaguar Mk.II Saloon fits the curve of the front of the kit,  I might add the rear tail lights from the Jaguar as well.
With the Chrysler details removed,  the car does remind me of something from continental Europe of the 1930s.

The 1995 Chrysler Atlantic was inspired by, amongst others the 1936 Bugatti type 57sc Atlantique.  Chrysler's design staff "were told to use ideas and features of the curvaceous French coupes of the thirties (Delahaye, Bugatti, Talbot-Lago, and Delage) to come up with a knock-out design that would mix the best of the old with the newest of the new."

Bugatti Type 57SC

I love the 'fins' down the centre line of the roof and wings of a 57SC. They turned a structural necessity into a styling feature.

There's a striking resemblance to the 1951 fixedhead Jaguar XK120, especially around the door area.
