Rebanian Space-Fighter, 2150

After the contact with the Terrans in 2127, the Rebaners were confronted for the first time with a new phenomenon: Not all galactic races were friendly to them.

There were no significant conflicts among themselves in their development, and so it was a great shock for the Rebaners when they lost one of their first faster-than-light ships - taken over from Terran stocks - in 2143 in an attack by Jülziish pirates.

As a result of this event, the Rebans decided to introduce defence forces. One of the first products was the one-Rebanese fighter "Häb-Chte" - which means firebird - developed with Terran help.

The sublight space fighter was armed with an impulse cannon and was initially deployed within the Räb system. Later it was also used on board of larger rebanish ships.

For training purposes rebanian Häb-Chte fighters flew on terranian spaceships, too, and were provided with markings understandable for terrans. The pictures show such a fighter and its pilot. Unusual for Rebans, the fighter pilots wear a pilot suit, normally Rebans rarely wear clothing.

The model

The model is in scale 1/72 and was printed with a FDM printer. The 3D model consists of parts of a F-104 Starfighter (fuselage parts) and a F1 Mirage (wings, tail unit), the whole was then assembled with own components to the fighter.

The 3D model of the small ground glider was created by Heinz Schöck (of the Facebook group "Perry Rhodan Visuell") and printed with an SLA printer.

The Rebaners were "scanned" by photogrammetry and printed with the SLA printer.

Scanned from your Engineer, if my eyes don't deceive me!  ;D

A super job there!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Well, no :)

Here is is complete group of scanned ones:

So we have:
Back row: NöNö Bär, Noodels, Lümmelbär, Scratch (my engineer)
Front row: Two prints of NöNöBär, jsut smaller.

The ones in the back are printed with the FDM printer, the small ones in front wit the SLA printer.

And of course - those two with the space fighter are no bears, they are Rebans :)

Tremendous sir

You have completely opened my eyes to 3D printing with your output. The future is he as they used to say
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
