Many, many moons ago I was branded a "working class snob"  The same person also accused me on a few occasions of "inverted snobbery"

Having seen the latest from our beloved government restricting how and where we can all meet up, may I suggest that we get model-making listed as a sporting activity or an act of worship?

Unless I've read it all wrong it practically bans us meeting up.

Well, we gather up to a limit of 6 (group A).  Any more than that and a second 6 (group B) is formed but not in the same room.  This continues until all participants are in groups.

At an agreed time, one person from each group will leave their group and move to the next one.  This continues until everyone has met everyone else.

Needs a bit of refinement but as long as it complies with the requirements no one will get fined, even if we all catch the lurgy.

Oh, we'd have track and trace I guess, but that's what the forum's for, right?

Alternatively we could all declare ourselves to be the support bubbles for each other, and be exempted from the Rule of Six.

My understanding of the new "regulations" is that different groups of 6 can be in the same room/bar/street at the same time as long as they don't intermingle or coalesce. That's the only way pubs can stay open. Now as for the exchange of members between each group ? I've no idea.

And these are meant to be the simplified rules we can all understand !

Mind you if we wait a couple of days this Government of ours will change the rules again anyway whilst simply saying "it's a clarification"
