Unfortunately the SA Scale Model Expo has been cancelled for this year.

From their website:

QuoteThe 2020 Model Expo to be held on the weekend of the 10 - 11th October 2020 at Immanuel College has been cancelled. Ongoing Covid 19 restrictions for gatherings and travel coupled with the economic realities faced by sponsors, have made the expo logistically and financially unviable

We are looking at alternative small scale member only events but the Expo as we know it will be postponed until 2021

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yup.. another one down.

ScaleACT in Canberra has been canned as well. That pretty much means all the larger Model Comps/Expo's/Shows in Oz have been canned for this year.

Next year maybe, but it will really depend on the ongoing restrictions around gatherings. If the venue/event guidelines set down for the UK Bolton show announcement are anything to go by as a possible example , some of next year could be pretty lean as well.

Yup a couple of UK shows have now cancelled for 2021 and having seen a synopsis of the relevant regulations I don't blame them. And that was before the most recent "tightening" of U.K. anti Covid regulations  :-\ At best I can see it taking until the second half of 2021 before we see a gradual return to what will be the new normal, and that's at best. Hope it's better prospects for you "Down Under".
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
