Something crazy was just finished. Angry AIM-54 Phoenix is model/figure/whatever produced without scale by chinese manufacturer Sabre. In small box there are two angry missiles , articulated stand for them and awesome decals. Parts fits like a dream , it was a joy to put together. Painting as usual - Mr.Hobby and Tamiya. Detail painting with Ammo and Vallejo, washes and fading with Ammo and oils. I cannot reccomend it high enough. Buy and try it by yourself , it's worth it's price :)

If you cant eat it hump it or fight it,
Pee on it and walk away!!

What a crazy idea, I love it!
I only found this missile kit on their website. (www.sabremodel.com) I wonder if they are planning other missile versions?
Rattlesnake head for the sidewinder missile?
Shark mouth for the AIM-120?
Angry wild boar for the Maverick?
A Hughes Falcon with a bewildered look not knowing which way to go!
If they were even close to scale I might use them on the right whiff!
Some other interesting stuff there including 1/35 German railway cars, armored D9 dozer, the M1070 tractor and M1000 trailer all in 1/72.

Triggers off other 'angry missile' ideas.

An Rb04 with a BIG hammer on its nose? (Thor's Hammer.... ;D)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

;D ;D Got me thinking of what some of the UK's 1950/60's projects might be now

Surprising! ;D
(while I prefer smiling faces than angry ones) ;)
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
