Ornithopters would also be more practical*.
It's been a while since I read Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy but IIRC he had people using wing suits to fly unaided.


*I have plans to revisit this timeline and build one.

I do like an ornitphopter.  Can't remember the wingsuits, but I do remember a glider being used.

Check out the trailer for the upcoming Dune movie.  It has ornithopters (as well as giant worms).

Ta, I'd half forgot it was due!  Slightly nervous about any Dune production, although they seem to have got the look and 'epic' part sorted.  And the Ornithopters look pretty much how I thought they should.

If this one's from the Martian People's front, will the Ortnihopter be in the markings of the Peoples Front of Mars?
