Agggh! I didn't know that, thanks. It'd be very time saving having them to hand, it's a REAL pain trimming the white ones each time, and I need to print LOTS of spares, just in case.

Glad you liked the final result gentlemen, thanks.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Fantasy Printshop do all sorts of oddball useful stuff, like sheets of warning triangles, rescue signs etc..

Sorry to be a " nit-picker" Kit , but an often missed feature of the Hornet is that it doesn't have an external frame to the windscreen .The frame is braced by two rods on the inside , which can appear almost invisible in photos.

Nice build Kit!

Maybe something to do with the PR5 having a pressurized cockpit explains the external framing?

EXACTLY the reason for the stronger frame.

And also for the rear hinged canopy as well, note the lack of rails aft of the canopy and the extra frame at the rear, which is where the it hinges.  ;D ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
