Ever since I built a Bandai 1/12 Stormtrooper as a post-Empire bounty hunter last year I have wanted go build him a ship.  Can't hunt bountys without a suitable vessel after all.

Many moons ago I built sci-fi ships using both A-10 engine nacelles (Mars Talon Lander) and a P-61 fuselage (HMS Scimitar frigate).  I've always wanted to combine the two and using the Razorcrest from The Mandalorian as a smidge of inspiration I came up with this.

It has a lot of PSR to go to smooth out the Milliput helping to hide to real P-61 canopy but I think the basic shape is set.  Lots of greeblies to go on too in true Star Wars fashion.  At first I was having second thoughts about the TIE wings on the nacelles but the more I look at it the more I like it.  Only tacked on with a dan of CA if I change my mind though.  Still lots to do.

It's a 1/48 P-61/A-10 combo that will he Scale-o-ramad to be a 1/72 ship.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That looks promising.

Of course, the ARC-170 was based on the Black Widow too (don't know if it's ever been offically confirmed, but come on...)

Cool

Personally I think it would look better without the TIE parts, no wing's at all or smaller straight wing's (like the outer portion of the A-10 wings the length of its ailerons and the turned down tips) would suit it better IMO. May not look Star Wars'y enough then though I suppose...

I vote "YES" to the TIE "wings".  It is a nod to The Empire. After all, he is an ex parrot Stormtrooper.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ditto. It's also reminiscent of the Razor Crest and the addition of the wings help to distract from that.
