Hard Landing at Exeter!

A West Atlantic Boeing 737-400F is to be scrapped after a very heavy landing at Exeter Airport. Reports that the pilot was ex-Navy and thought he was landing on a carrier have yet to be confirmed....  ;D

Jeepers, that's SERIOUSLY knackered!  :o

I've not even seen damage like on an airframe in a fatigue test rig, they must have REALLY banged it down hard.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
