OH yes, I like the PC17!

Where did you find that?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The P.c. 7 model looks gorgeous.  And with so short wings...  ;)

Tell me about it! I was seriously tempted, but the thought having to reproduce more of those corrugated wing radiators put me right off the idea.

The lack of span on such a long fuselaged aeroplane has a certain appeal though, I must admit.

Not sure where I first saw it. Now I can only find the pic on Pinterest.
There might be a connection with the Speedbirds book and websites discussed in an old thread: https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=34306.0

I do like these "flying radiators" and that's come out really well Kit.

Interested to see what the Whifferry is ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It's well OTT  ;D

The missing component arrived today, but it's made of METAL so it'll take some serious engineering to make it work. I'm on it though.......  ;)

A working 1/72 clutch for the water and air propellers, maybe ?  :o :o
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Hehehe, no! It's a purely visual bit of Whiffery, but it'll take a while to do as I'm concentrating on my two 'Captured' GB entries at the moment.

Evidently the clutch/gearbox for the air-propeller worked, the problems were in the
water-propeller drive and there was no access to the clutch/gearbox, so trying to fix
the problems wasn't feasible without major work.
