I have opened my kit boxes of boxes at last, and it was a goldmine I had partly forgotten... See:

Most of them are twin-tail real planes but I will follow Captain Canada's great Broncobra lesson: put the nacelle of one on the wings of another and vice versa...
Many are also ugly planes in double copy, that I did not intend to twin into Zwillings, but to show next to one another: real ugly vs improved beauty of mine. Now I hope I will be able to join them into couple Zwillings: real ugly = port fuselage, starboard beauty = starboard fuselage... For Goblin, Tunnan, Caudron 714, XP-77, etc.

That Spaceship One/White Knight, is that from Unicraft, or some other company?

I'm sure it's Unicraft Hobbes

Nice cllection you've got there Tophe - Zwilling Caudron Renault by any chance ?

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

I confirm: the White Knight / Space Ship 1 are Unicraft. Do you have ideas of more what-if versions of them (not too hard for my modelling poor skills)? Well, I know we could install bombs and guns and military roundels, but I prefer civil ways and shape changes, by far (as far as I am concerned, while respecting the other ways).
The Caudron Renault is intented to be twinned like the one of Nicolas Pug featured in my Supplement 1 to Forked Ghosts, but the starboard fuselage will be different, aesthetically improved, with a bigger spinner and no ugly scoop below...

Well, for White Knight there's always it as the drop test vehicle for the X-37.  This weel's AV&ST has pics.

(For those into it, it's also got a pick of the Evergreen 747 Firebomber doing a drop)

Thats an awesome little stash you got there Tophe.  I love looking at the old boxings of kits, reminds me of when I was a kid and makes the models seem somehow better.

Nicolas Pug's Caudron-Renault twin C-714TE is illustrated on the cover of my book at

Uh? It is an old book, published in 2003... All is explained on my homepage: the old book Forked Ghosts, this Supplement 1, The end of Forked Ghosts (free, that you got), and the rest on the What-if forum. (If I had known this site before, I would never have made books, it is more pleasant to share freely, and enrich one another again and again...) :) Thank you all :)  ;)  ^_^
