Thanks Brian, I tried that and came up with a load of rubbish before.

But there's more Deep Sky shades than I can shake a stick at there! Including one that's a dead ringer for the paint I actually used!

All depends I think on the search terms used.  I used "colour deep sky".

Dispaire's setting in over doing the Deep Sky now, so in the meanwhile I've masked up and painted the de-icer boots, and they look OK.

I'll probably re-mask everything next and re-do the top white colour.

Then I'll think about Deep Sky again...........

When I did my MB Long Ranger, I wanted a deep blue too, I ended up using Glossy Sea Blue

I've got some of that, in Tamiya or Gunze acrylic.

This is the sky over The Mornington Peninsula at 10 this morning. Complete with the Moon.

It gets deeper at the height of summer but this is, I feel, a very pleasing shade.

It is.  It's the lens on my phone which makes it looks so small.
