The headline isn't accurate, but the actual article seems reasonable

I suppose  that the average reader assumes that tracks+ military=tank; and to the reporter  "tank" is easier to type than  "landing vehicle tracked" .  Call it a Buffalo  and Joe/Jo ordinary will assume that it's an article about an Asian horned ungulate.
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Oh, cool - good to see another one rescued.
I wonder if they'll retrieve the others? If they're still there?

It looks to be in pretty good shape, but then it's been in the ground, not in the ocean...

You'd think the word 'Vehicle' could have been used, but I guess it's easier and quicker to type 'Tank'... repeatedly... at least they did give it the proper nomenclature in the article, so that's something.

They must have changed the title since you posted it.

The Daily Mail has a lot more photos of much better quality. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9525535/Volunteers-spend-five-days-digging-perfectly-preserved-WW2-amphibious-vehicle.html

The Crowland Buffalo LVT group make good use of their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1382944771880947

There's one more nearby that they want to dig out. I assume the 2 lost in fishing holes will have rotted away by now.
