In the civilian role, maybe that's where the VIPs sit to eat their french fancies?

I thought that the "French fancies" sat in the observation blister seats and looked cute, whilst their "sugar daddy"  companions observed them rather than the view outside...........................or am I just getting overly cynical in my dotage?

My mind went WA-AY lower in the gutter than that!

There's plenty of Catalina kits on E-Bay.  The Academy one isn't bad.  You should get one and build your dream.
