As do I, and I'm impressed by the simulated gunfire on the US Battleship model, very realistic and it's something that's very difficult to do.

I wonder how they did it?  LEDs in the gun blasts?

Maybe, but it just looks like extremely well painted cotton wool to my tired old eyes ?

There was an accompanying sheet of notes.  I probly should have taken a snap of it.  IIRC the orange in the blasts is hair dye.

Cotton wool has a lot of potential for small scale explosions and gunfire - the gunfire here appears to me as if several "balls" had been sculpted, airbrushed/spraxed and then clogged together. Looks very good, and I have seen a diorama some time ago with a buring aircraft of a carrier deck, with LED lights hidden in the deck illuminating the cotton wool clusters from below. Very dramatic.

I've seen that too, not only dramatic but very very good too.
