Ahem, a push-pull does not mean obligatorily 2 engines (at least). IMHO, the Canton-Unné of 1910 was a push-pull twin-boomer with a single engine behind the pilot but 2 propellers back and forth to counteract torque, the front one being driven by a simple shaft (between pilot's legs yes) like on the P-39 Airacobra and cousins. <_<
