It's amazing what a rhetorical, tongue-(firmly)-in-cheek comment can elicit, sometimes. ;D

Got me into trouble to many times to mention

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm curious about the thoughts of the show organizers about this and as to why something more isn't done about it. It puts traders at odds with these people doing UTT, and from an organizer's standpoint, these people doing UTT are skipping out on paying the fees that they would obviously enjoy having so the question is why isn't more done to curb UTT? Unless I completely missed it, I didn't see anything in the write-up about this - no mention of someone being caught or what happened to them or possible consequences for being caught doing UTT sales, etc  (again, unless I missed it......  I have attention problems... ) .

It wouldn't take all too much effort to starting busting people. Just get some random person "undercover" to go around to these tables attempting to buy UTT and if a club/individual is caught doing it, they are kicked out and banned from returning. Even making a few examples out of people would help to start to decrease the frequency. So...  what do the organizers do? Are they just ignoring the problem or what? Is it that they aren't quite as willing to bust these people doing UTT sales because they are worried that if they ban too many people, interest and attendance will wane? Almost sounds like a "sweep the problem under the rug" thing to me because in my mind, busting people doing this and kicking them out would be pretty simple to do...  the question remains, why aren't they?

Most UTT are exhibitors clearing stuff from stashes to make a few bob to fund further purchases. Yes, some can and do take the piss, but by and large most traders usually realise this, because they also benefit.

Makes sense.....  not that much motivation for people to "snitch," as it were, if they can take advantage of the situation as well. Thanks for helping me make sense of it all.   "There's always a reason....  "
