I wish!

It wasn't a particularly special motor, but it's toast now. Looks like the commutator has failed and lost a sector as the motor just won't start from one of its three pole positions.  The other one I replaced it with is much better anyway.

The paint on the wheel inserts is drying now and then it'll be done.  ;D

And it's finished, phew.  :o

What a marathon build that was, but almost NOTHING else got done in my house for the whole week!

And I said I'd got Darel's name on it............  ;D

Just to remind you, it's meant to look like this.

Yeah, I know the roll cage in the RW pic is black, and it's red in the model, but Bud Moore changed the interior quite often.

It's not looking too bad, and I'll probably come last in the races, situation normal for me these days, but I might stand a decent chance in the Concours.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

No complaints about this at all    ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Don't ask. :(

As expected I came last out of a field of maybe 18-20, but with no test driving at all that was to be expected. It needs to sit lower to the track and needs some weight added too. There's plenty of power and it could out accelerate any of the other cars on the straights, but cornered like a drunken sailor on a Saturday night.

I dumped it over the wall and onto the floor THREE times, and the last time it broke the forward body mount, so that was that.

It did come third in the Concours though.  ;D

As expected, then
Is the body mount repairable?

PR19_Kit

Oh yeah, and I'll lower it at the same time, and it'll hopefully be faster round the corners then.
