When I interpret the news section in the recent Hobby Japan magazine correctly, CMR re-releases its resin 1:72 Westland Wyvern TF.1 prototype:

Already available at Japanese shops, but quite pricey.  :-\

Nice kit if you have a spare kidney to sell.

There are legal issues that prevent it.

PR19_Kit

Slightly more than a 1/144 Airfix Concorde then..............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

The Wyvern is CMR rather than CMK.

It's a very nice kit, I've got three of them.

Strangely I was only talking about this to Lee the other day. One day I SHALL build mine  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

Mine's largely together and primed, but that's about it. Late 40s scheme with the high demarcation and type D's.  Probably on HMS Eagle.

As you know, I built one as the mid engine concept but 'in-service'. One of the others I will build as the Clyde powered prototype, and the other will be OOB. I'll then build an OOB Wyvern S.4 (Trumpeter) then pose the lot together along with the Tyne powered mid engined one I'm building.

Unfortunately, the 3rd party picture host I'm using has not renewed their Security Certificate so now none of my pics on any of my postings are showing. And even though I sent them a couple of emails about it, they haven't had the courtesy of acknowledging them, let alone fixing the problem. As a result, I'm not going to bother finding another 3rd party host again, I just won't post photos.

Never really liked type D roundels for some reason, and have been wondering if I could do it in the low demarcation scheme but with BPF markings on the basis that the RN kept a strong presence in the Pacific post a later finishing Pacific War and retained BPF markings for a year or two.

That's a shame mate

Well, I don't use it to store/back up my photos there, the only reason I use it is so I can post photos on this forum. It's the second one I've used that's gone t!ts up so that's it for me.

Fair do's mate. I stuck with Photobucket through their various upheavals and I'm quite happy with the package I have. Just been lucky, touching all the wood possible
