Easter Island? It used to be an independent kingdom. Would moai sales be enough for a sustainable economy?

Mrs z and I were pondering the reforestation of Easter Island only yesterday.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Principality of Hutt River is a quasi-independent state in Western  Australia - more of a joke than a reality.  Established by Prince leornard in the 1970s to protest at the taxes he was force to pay to the ATO.   Since his passing, a couple of years ago, it's been maintained by his widow and kids to earn a little bit of extra cash.  They issue their own colourful stamps.
