I came to pick up some Xmas shopping in Stevenage and found a model shop across the road.

SC Models in Unit 1, Orbital Close, Stevenage SG1 2NB

Radio Control car specialist. Prices seem reasonable.

Large range of Tamiya kits (100+), mostly tanks in 1/35, 1/24 car range, and a smaller selection of aircraft plus a few ships behind the counter.
Full range of Vallejo Model Color and Model Air paints.
Ammo Mig paints rack,  full selection.
Tamiya paints, full range of jars and spray cans. Not the AF aircraft spray range.
Wall full of brushes and tools and tapes.

At least they weren't under the counter  ;)

Many years ago a local estate agent started to refer to Streatham in London as St Reatham in order to boost prices, didn't work  ;D

Likewise Battersea became South Chelsea and some took to pronouncing Clapham as "Clarm".

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I knew someone who probably still refers to Battersea as S Chelsea  :-X Given the house prices nowadays though it might as well be. Certainly not the Battersea some of my mates lived in. Even the Dogs and Cats Home has had a makeover  ;D
