Devilfish

Bought as a stopgap to fill the whole in the UK air defence after the Falklands war.  The Mirage was the perfect halfway house between the Lightning and the Phantom.  As only one squadron was equipped, the aircraft retained the name Mirage...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ha! I was actually googling on RAF M2000 (and 4000) as late as yesterday. Good build!
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

As was I.  Weird how Whif ideas hit us all simultaneously sometimes.  I was reading a thing about how there was a thought of France taking Tornado IDS to replace the Mirage IV of the UK went in on what would be the fixed wing interceptor version of the Mirage G8.  And then there is the whole proposal for the RAF to take IVs. Whiffery gold with the Mirage family as this build shows.  Gorgeous.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The M2000 is probably the cleanest jet fighter design since the Hunter, imho. Incredibly balanced and purposeful, yet with an almost female elegance. Every nation should have bought at least two sqns worth just because they're so pretty.
