Fresh from an upgrade  refit so as to operate  skyflash and sidewinder missiles,  these supersonic  hunters  were based on the Falkland Islands  at Mount Pleasant  air base. The kit is the Revell FGR 9 with the freightdog supersonic  conversion.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thanks everyone,  I  wanted  from the start to build  this as a Falklands  guardian,  so had to do my homework  looking for  decals of squadrons  based there during the Time period. And also, why not make the Hunter  a lethal  adversary to the Argentine  Mirages and skyhawks.  :angel:
