TBH, avoid the AZ Spiteful as it's garbage.  Underscale, terrible fit and serious errors.

Well, that sucks... but there are no other injection molds of this aircraft in 1/72, are there? I guess i'll have to wait for a proper kit to come out... if that ever happens.  :-\ :banghead:
Thanks for the heads up, Lee. I really wanted a Spiteful but i don't want to be forced to get the 1/48 Trumpeter kit, which also has several issues... Not that the inaccuracies bother me very much but if the fit is bad, it may not be worth all the work.

Well there's the 'limited run' Pegasus kit which is injection, or you could look out for a Rare-Plane vacuform or the CMR resin kits

The AZ Seafang is a better option once denavalised. The deep cowl is representative of the planned Spiteful F.16.

The Rareplane kit has issues with the tail surfaces, either shape or size, and the canopies generally come in a nice shade of gold.  Pegasus did two, the second one with white metal bits.  Again, issues with tail surfaces and the canopy rarely fits.
The Pegasus is a copy of a Czech resin kit - the early one has tell tale marks that can only be from mould seams.  I've seen several that originated from the same master as they all have the same error.  RS Resins did a copy and Airmodel reboxed it.

I've remembered I have an AZ one that I got in a bag and only planned to strip for bits.  Yours for the postage?  I'll throw in some extra stuff that may be of some use.

As for the K-14, I think the K-14 parts are in the K-4 box.  The wing guns are, possibly not the prop.  The proposed K-6 would have had the guns but not the four blade prop.

The prop for the K-14 is in the K-4 kit, marked not for use so that gives you a option of the K-4 if the K-14 is not available.

All the AZ 109's are nice kits in contrast to some of their other stuff, and I'm generally a fan of them. The K-14 comes with lots of extras in the way of armament options
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well, i've found a few Pegasus kits but the prices are a bit steep and i'll have to deal with customs fees because they're all outside of the EU so, those are not a viable option. There are a bunch of vacform rareplanes kits but i don't think those are any better than the Pegasus kits and the prices are too high for what i think it's worth.
The AZ kits are nowhere to be found... none listed on ebay, none on Scalemates' marketplace...

Now, the best part, last week, before i created this topic, i'd found a portuguese modelling shop that listed the Spiteful so, naturally, i ordered it. An automatic email was sent to me confirming the order but saying i had to wait for the confirmation of the product's existence in their stock. Only after confirmation will they let me know how much the total will be with shipping included. No confirmation so far and it's been a week since they got the order but the weird thing is that i've just checked and the listing has been removed from their site so i'm not holding my breath for that one... nor will i be ordering from this shop again. :banghead:

Lee, a PM will be sent after i post this reply!

Regarding the K-14 kit, i was forgetting that we can see most of the kit sprues on the SuperHobby site. I went over and they had the K-14 listed but marked as discontinued but i've seen the same sprues on the K-4 and -6 kits and they've sent me an email saying the K-6 has just become available so, i'll get that one.

The K-14 is the one version of the BF-109 that i've wanted to build since i got back in the hobby. While watching countless hours of WWII docs, i found out about the K-14 but the AZ kit was already OOP and hard to find when i became aware of it's existence... :banghead:
I believe the K-6 kit has all the same options, the sprues are identical to the K-14 so, i guess i got lucky with that one.

Thank you all for the help, it's very much appreciated!

Thank you, Alastair. I have bought quite a few things from Model hobbies and it's a very good shop, but since that Brexit thing happened, i just had to stop ordering from the UK shops. Portuguese customs are very annoying and everything that comes from outside the EU is held at their warehouse so they get all the info regarding the transaction to apply a tax on the item. Obviously, if you don't pay, it's sent back to the sender.
I'm going to buy it on the Super hobby site, which is in Poland and that way, i don't have to worry about a thing and i'll pay a normal price for the kit instead of paying twice as much.
