The model that you choose must look like or can be made out of ice. This includes jelly moulds or any other mould. The ice can be coloured or made to look like its coloured.

A part from submarines and  warships  any other vehicle RW or fictional fitted with a nuclear reactor .

Land speed record nominees
RW or whiffed. Tyres or skis must touch the ground when stationery.

I'll be pulling the preliminary vote together over the weekend hopefully. So far we have 61 suggestions for subjects.

I am very much of the opinion that one of the group builds should be Regional - i.e. builds must represent a machine or figure as used in one area such as Africa or South America. Wide enough for everyone to take part in some way.

Regional - as a category, if chosen we then have a later vote on which region.

Small Nations - give the lesser known and oft overlooked nations of the world machines and soldiers they didn't have.

Airliners - create your own airline, give an existing airline machines they didn't have, invent brand new passenger aircraft.

I've just read my way through this whole thread, and there a great deal of potential whiffery possible whatever we decide to vote for.

Right I'll throw a suggestion into the mix -

1942/2022 - 80th Anniversary of WWII turning points - Midway, Stalingrad, El Alamein.

I'll be locking this thread down either later today or early Sunday UK time, and then sorting the preliminary poll out

If it garners enough votes to enter the second round of polling then the individual 6 continents (N and S America, Europe, Africa, Asia inc. The Middle East and Oceania) will go forward into the second round.

I had no idea. Just checked Eduard's news but haven't seen anything. Trying to check  ALL of Eduard's would be impossible. Could you, pls, direct me to some link?

It's the Bunny Club edition of the Tempest Mk V. One of the versions on offer is a RNZAF example based on HMS Habakka in the Antacrtic circa 1946.
