A Me-262 1/144 may be a donor kit for the jets. Revell or Mark 1 or Trumpeter, at least, according to Google.

But then I'd have some 262's without engines, and I don't want that so I'll find some pen tubes or scrapped toy parts or something.

Yes, for us what-ifers it is more easy than for serious (sad) modellers! ;D ;)

From the CJ-51D, the back is improved lowering down the wing into CJ-51D-2, but (with my angle of view) the aspect is less clean ("canopy in jet").
Then with more external jets into CJ-51D-3 the aspect is better, while the pilot would face worse asymmetry problem if one engine is in a jam.

You getting it now Tophe mate...its looking pretty sweet now ...for the engines its much easier in 48th than 1/144 scales.
Id make em from plastic tubes and use pen tips for the velocity stacks and just wiffy the the hell out of the tail pipes .
The P51s fusealge will need to be lenghtened and a wee bit of reshaping to the nose as its got no propeller anymore and the complete custom build on the landing gear..tricycle landing gear for sure .
The wings will need a heap of work to sort out but its nothing hard ..hardest part is grafting the engines into the wings ..hard part is making them clean..i suck at that .
Hey Tophe what do ya think about giving the wings a slight rear wards taper..angle the outer wings from the engine back..not to much..that might look pretty cool.

Thanks.

I try to follow your words while... backwards (as you say) or forward (for a better lift centering?)? <_<

Ohhhhh Tophe mate   ..both look amazing dude  ;D
Damn i like the forward swept wing ..rearwards sweep is very cool but the forward sweep is brilliant  ;D
You absolutely nailed it again mate..that has got to be built .
Next week im gonna hunt down and buy the cheapest 48th scale Mustang i can get..this is to cool a design not to build.

Thanks a lot for such an enthusiasm, from our cooperation... ;D

Your design's buddy are what is going to make this come to life..my ideas are useless to a point..so much easier when the idea can be seen first..thrn ya know if its going to work for not..in this case..dude it worked out great  ;D
