I can see them prefectly on my phone..no resizing needed .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

The cockpit section has had a coat of primer to tie it together and show any flaws.  None that I can see that are needing of instant work.

The intake ducting has had another coat of white, as has the splitter plate, so these bits may well get joined up today.

Current progress with the Vengeance.

Cockpit section all primed and fitted in place.  Bit of a struggle, but they always see our way in the end.

With the wing on.  At this point I'd moved it back about 5mm.  Still not quite right, so it's been taken back another 5mm and it looks almost bang on.  Will mean a lot more filler required to get the spine aft of the canopy blended in.

Stop! Filler Time!
Yes, plenty there.  First coat.

What a difference a day makes.  No, just more filler.  that's been sanded back another skim added.  No doubt it'll need another.

I test fitted the wing and turned it over, drawing a line where it'll need some filler work with thin plastic card.  It's designed for a much wider fuselage, so that needs reworking so it'll blend in better.  Of course, it's underneath and in a dark scheme, which will hide a multitude of sins.  This is the next issue to fix whilst all that filler is hardening.

That's looking VERY good. The 2-seater cockpit works very well.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The reshaping seems to have worked.  It looks very much not like a Hunter now.

Agreed! If i hadn't been following the thread and just saw these last pics, i'd never guess that front end was a Hunter before.

I've sanded the filler back and added another skim, so hopefully that is all finished for now but when the spine goes in, it's a lot of filler. I've added some plastic card at the back of it, as there's a huge gap when the wing is in place.

I've added a section of card behind the cockpit section to aid wing placement and added some plastic card strips underneath they wing.  That's to tidy up the section where it would be on top of the resin TSR2 body, which is much wider.  with those in, it fits much better and doesn't wobble about.  Hoping to get that in place later today.

Having played with a TSR2 fin in place, it's just too big.  I'm going with a Lightning F3 fin instead, but it'll be an all moving fin like TSR2, rather than fixed with a rudder.

Finally, I've added some plastic card to the u/c module to bring the width in line with the fuselage.  Part of me is minded to remove the wheels and replace them, but that resin isn't very forgiving.
