The Wooksta!

This may go on longer than n the GB allows, for various reasons. If it's also outside the rules, can we move it to Aircraft later?

The Hunter as originally designed looked very different, with a T tail and a MiG 21 style nose intake and evolved via mock ups and testing to the aircraft we now know.  I've been working on the original P.1067 design for a while, and have got to a point where it can go together.  This is the outside the rules bit.  However, as I'd like more than just the one and others may also want one, I'm going to mould it.  The first casts will be the test build and I'm confident that is in the rules.

I'll be posting some photos of the various masters later.

The Wooksta!

And here's some photos.

Basic fuselage, wings and fin.  I have a mould for the latter - I got this far and decided to mould it, as it's better to knack a cast than the master.  The fin is a heavily reworked Hunter fin from the vile ZTS kit.  It's so bad as a Hunter it's not even worth binning.

The wings were passed to me by TsrJoe many years back, but they lacked any detail.  Ailerons and flaps scribed in and the wheel wells have been grouted out.

And the flip side.

That looks nasty.  I'll fill it with some resin to smooth it all before I mould it.  Once I've got a casting or two, I can worry about important things like nosegear bays and cockpits.

For all the work you've done this is no further in the build process than if they were parts you had taken from a box.  Plenty more work to do so it looks OK to be in the GB IMO.
As far as being L, H, or C, if it is a design that led to any one of them then that's acceptable in my book.

Kit?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yeah, fine by me, it's pretty much a scratchbuild anyway!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
