1/350 Borodino pre-dreadnought into WW2 escort/AA ship

I've wondered what a monitor like ship would look like with modern tank turrets and similar armor on the ship. There were the brown water navy monitors in the Mekong River delta during Vietnam. They had slat/bar armor against RPGs way back then.

An interesting idea. I was thinking of something bigger but this is cool too. The latest version of this idea is maybe a 1/350th hull with a rebuilt superstructure and Abrams or Leapard 2 turrets. Someone did something like this a long time ago with an Arizona hull and Sherman turrets IIRC.

The Soviets had the riverine 1124, 1125 and larger open water MBK gunboats that used T-34 turrets.You cannot view this attachment.

The 1124 & 1125 are available as resin kits... gonna be pricey, though (gulp!)
