Clive Cussler's NUMA books frequently mention the big, flashy, deep-sea research vessels, but they never mention the support vessels that back up the big ones.

One of those support ships is the Coastal Gem, portrayed here in 1/700 scale,  (remarkably similar to a heavy tug formerly on the Liverpool waterfront).

'Attachment is awaiting approval'?  :-\

Since when have we EVER needed approval for pics here???????
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Apparently I have done something wrong.  I can see two of the three photos inline and all three as thumbnails.

Not at all, it's me I'm afraid. I obviously didn't hit the right button  :banghead:  New members first posts/first pictures can require approval simply as a double check. Apologies

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
