Right I finally got there, but only after most of yesterday afternoon struggling on my own and then a couple of hours this morning after I'd got Tom's help. So I can finally publish a Poll with images, prior to this I just posted links, but it is long winded and I've still got the feeling I'm not doing this in a very efficient way. So Tom's "how to" has been forwarded to the Mods of this GB.

Now for something personal. I found that not only did I get extremely frustrated with this but I also got very annoyed with myself and indeed at times quite angry with myself. First time that has happened since I've retired and it hadn't happened for a long time in work before that. So basically the IT technology is beyond me and I'm being serious. I can deal with the day to day moderating tasks and I can also deal with the more regular functions when it comes to the administration, but unless something is extremely user friendly then I really struggle with both new requirements and those that only occur every few months or so. Yes I have now scribbled myself an idiots guide to doing the poll, but that's not the point, I can't do new things without someone showing me face to face first. So as that is unlikely to happen anything new that comes up as far as the IT side of things is concerned will require someone else to deal with it. Now I know that is a far from regular occurrence, but I'm just filing an advanced warning that in future there may well be occasions when I just say " sorry but I can't do that"".

Dude..mate you do awesome work handling us maniacs and the amount of work you do is amazing but your also human and can't be expected to know and do everything.
No apologies needed Chris..ever as far as im concerned.
And as far I know I'm not in "The Book" so I ain't sucking up 😀
