And with the Scout's/Wasp's well known lack of reasonable payload, that'd probably be ALL that it could carry!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yes, the Royal National Lifeboat Institute will be gifted a Westland Scout, resplendant in those colours!

Empty weight: 3,232 lb (1,466 kg)
Max takeoff weight: 5,300 lb (2,404 kg)

So that's over a ton, not bad.
