After the 'uprising' on the troubled Caribbean island of Quanta~Kosta, the USAF sent a MATS Heavy Lift transport loaded with troops and armour. Seen here with it's escort, CAF, All Purpose Interceptor. (API #1)
Not much is known about these two aircraft, only that they are extremely fast with cruise at a very high altitude.
The HL 1, Titan, is capable of carrying 3x M3/4 super tanks while the API's have a crew of 4 and have multi-weapon systems.

Tophe

Great picture and great models  , Lyn, congratulations!
Notes:
- API was the name of the first company I worked for "Appareils et Procédés d'Identification" meaning "(bacterial) identification tools and processes", and the French pronounced it as Happy, which was a joke...
- It is a fine idea to have a 1/250 model in front and 1/400 behind (why is it smaller? because it is further...)

Great job Glenn, I especially like the weathering on Thunderbird 2

Sorry Tophe, that should read 1/450sc. (API)
API over here was my last job, here in Brisbane. It stood for Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, a pharmacy warehouse, 7.5 years of trying to drive me insane.

Hey. Dont forget the RAF have been operating the type for years  :P
Nice one glenn, love the paint job on the HL.   was toying with doing something with the TB1 model myself...was thinking 56sqn RAF. U did a far better job than my effort...love the photo.

The new one is mine, did it last year to go with Joe's old one...dunno when he did it.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Amazing-----I thought it was a very expensive CGI at first.

Great modeling and composite photo work, Glenn/Lyn!

Keep 'em coming!
