This means I should have a good supply of (mostly good) Martels, as I have one old Airfix 1/48 Bucc & two new Airfix 1/48 Bucc's. ;D

Agreed.  Have not been easy to find though.  The new Airfix Bucc is a treasure trove of Whif Weapons with all its Martels.

From memory the old Airfix Bucc had really bad Martels.

Old Airfix Bucc had bad everything. 

The old Bucc had Sea Eagles. The Old Harrier had REALLY bad MARTELS!
