So I got that going for me...which is nice....

PR19_Kit

Well I'll be............

Did they buy all the ex-RAF Tucanos then?

Cool

I knew a few had escaped stateside as war birds.
But not suprised to find some of them being recycled for further military use.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

That makes a whole lot of sense. With two drop tanks, two rocket pods and an ISR turret, you get five-and-a-half hours of overwatch and CAS for a ground patrol, with fourteen laser-guided rockets and two pilots to halve the fatigue.

Hobbyboss produce a rather nice 1/48 EMB 314 Super Tucano with lots of things that go bang! It certainly looks mean. Ok, not an ex RAF one but, it works for me. Irish Air Corps markings methinks!
